I love little neighborhood markets such as Hildago's. When I'm cooking and realize I need a lemon or an onion , no fret, I can walk over to Hildago's and grab a missing ingredient. I often cook my mother's Mexican food recipes from mole to enchiladas and it's very convenient to find all of the special spices and chilis needed for my recipes.

This is our small Mexican market that's been here for a long time but I never went in before. I was surprised that it had everything I needed and it was much bigger that it looks from the outside. Nice meat market and some pastries . Lots of relevant items and some hard to find foods also. Friendly people helping me.

It really is a little market. Small, but mighty--literally packed wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling with all sorts of Mexican goodies from meat and produce to piñatas and plaster figurines hecho en Mexico. They have fresh-made tomales--my favorite is the sweet corn tamale. They don't have the sweet corn tomales often, but they are amazing. Almost like a dessert!

Nice little Mexican supermarket in Pleasanton. I wanted some crema, queso and some chilis for chili relleno. Found all I was looking for. They have some snacks/ sweets as well. I bought the alfajores and it was decent- tasted good but wasn't the freshest.

I'm so happy to have found this little gem in downtown Pleasanton! They have Pan Dulce, produce, meats (marinated), and lots of Latino goods that I would have to go to Hayward or Concord to get. I will definitely return! I'll take pictures next time.

This is a hidden Gem in the Tri-Valley. The guy at the meat counter is friendly and knowledgeable. The other staff were personable. This is a Mom and Pop type market. If you want snob service and someone to stoke your ego, Stay at Home. When I BBQ this the Carne Asada go to!
